Grapes, Red Globe
This Red Globe is an Aussie favourite that's produced in Oz. It's HUGE and pinkish-red round (reminds us of the biggest marble you traded at school).
It has a crisp skin, fleshy pulp, and super sweet taste.
- Freshest in December to May
- Good for school snacks (older kids!), fruit salad, roasting.
- Store in fridge crisper at the back (it's cold there). Keep away from smelly foods like onions and leeks, as grapes can absorb odours.
Did you know?
Grapes were brought to Australia on the First fleet in 1788. Our first Governor, Governor Phillip planted a small vineyard as one of his first ventures into agriculture in the new colony.
