Plum, Queen Garnet
- Freshest in summer
- Good for salad, snacks, but also makes a powerful juice.
- Store in airtight container / bag in fridge when they're ripe. If your plums do not smell fragrant and are hardish to touch, leave them in a paper bag to ripen at room temp.
Queen Garnett’s are the Queen bee in plums!
Did you know?
The juice from this plum variety contains quite a bit of anthocyanins, or antioxidants. They're found in fruit and veg that's blue and red in colour, like plums and blueberries. 2 Queen Garnetts give the total of antioxidants required a day. Isn’t that incredible!
