Cool, crisp lettuce with a sharper flavour than Iceberg.

Lettuce  belongs to the sunflower family Asteraceae.

• Freshest in summer, but an all season vege.
• Good for using like a plate in a dish, dips, salads, sandos and sides.
• Store in paper towel in a container in fridge crisper for up to 5 days, or place in bowl of water in fridge.
  

Top Tip
To keep it fresh, remove outer, trim and wash your lettuce in cold water. Let it sit and drain. Use a salad spinner to dry and place wet paper towel on top, pop it in the fridge crisper. Re-wet paper towel if it dries out.
