Celery
Celery is a firefighter that saves dense, meaty or fatty dishes with fresh water and light, especially if you add the leaves. It's totally edible, but the leaves are bold and strong and should be used soon after buying. Its the juice that heals by Medical Medium Anthony William. Don’t discard the white, inner stalks....many chefs believe they have the most flavour!
- Freshest in July.
- Good for salads, school snacks, platters and dip dippers (raw), stir fry, steaming, stews / casseroles. Use the leaves in salads when young as they're strongly flavoured.
- Store as per pack, in the fridge. It usually only lasts for weeks once sliced. Always check and follow the advice on the packet.
